It's been almost 30 years since I last saw the parts we had, but I remember
that an American version (I think the International) we looked at was very
different from the Russian version that we ended up using. And as my memory
s-l-o-w-l-y begins to go deeper, I think we actually got the Russian version
we used from the Library of Congress. The arranging staff may have hand
copied the band parts, because I think all the LOC had was the score, which
they photocopied for us (in which case, now that I think of it, the one I
have may have been the band's only copy).

In any case, it's not a great piece of music, but it _is_ originally for
band accompaniment by a well-known "classical" composer. I may check out the
Belwin and the Omega editions just to satisfy my own curiosity.

Thanks for the information.
