The Rossini Intro., Theme, and Variations is a crowd-pleaser and the
accompaniment is very basic. Just Boom chick chick chick, Boom chick chick
chick.. etc.. with a few interludes...

Dear List,

I would like to appeal to all clarinetists and band directors! - I am
wondering if anyone out there knows of a 'good' piece of music for solo
clarinet and concert band. I have been invited to solo with the
highschool band, and the band director has informed me that the band
accompaniment part should not be difficult.

As I haven't had much experience with this type of ensemble, I have no
idea what to look for! I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thank you. (from a new'ish' Klarinet member and 'lurker') :-)
