While I have never met Roger Garrett, he seems to be a very
knowledgeable musician. He has also gone out of his way to be of help to
me, despite the fact that the only way we know each other is through
Cindy Field (whom I also know only through the internet) and through
this list. While I don't know anything about the school as a whole, I
suspect that Roger would be an excellent teacher. I would take a lesson
with the teachers at both of these Universities, and see which one you
prefer. Also, try to attend a recital of each of them, and see if there
is one with a style which you prefer.
