Subj: [kl] Interesting concert in NY

The opening concert of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln center
was announced in the NY Times, probably some days ago, but I saw
the advertisement in today's paper. On this concert, Schifrin will
play the clarinet quintet, the Kegelstatt trio, and the concerto.
It is, of course, an all Mozart program.

Although it was not stated, I suspect that he will do the first and
third works on basset clarinet. I do not know his performance
history of the Kegelstatt and which instrument he might use.

Bravo to him! Wish I were living in NY. Wouldn't miss it.
