Scott, I am touchy about this subject because I have been approached many
times to loan my instruments. Never has anyone offered to rent them. One
gentleman borrowed my eefer and proceeded to adjust MY keys so they fit HIS
fingers better.

The worst insult was when I was asked to loan my eefer to SOMEONE else so he
could play a paid gig that I wanted. Guess what my answer was to that
request!!

Therefore my sensitivity!

Now let's talk about doubling pay. Gee, Walter, just because you have to play
four different clarinets in this concert, we don't really think we need to
pay you doubling! You're a clarinettist!

Hell, the violinists were already home having a beer before I was done
swabbing out!!!!!!

So OK...I'm touchy!
