Jim Lytthans <Lytthans@-----.net> Subject: [kl] C Clarinets To the List:
I am about to "bite the reed" and buy a C clarinet (Why? Because!). What I
would like is the Leblanc Opus C, but that's a bit too pricy ($3445 at
WWBW). I have two instruments in mind: (1) the Leblanc Esprit C at $1925,
and (2) the Patricola C at $1895. Any advice regarding playability, sound
and intonation of these horns? I've played several Leblanc Noblet Cs, but
find them stuffy and out of tune. Thanks for your help. -- Jim Lytthans

Jim - try the Buffet E-11 C Clarinet. Worth a blow, not too $$$.
