Subj: [kl] high Bb very flat
Date: Sat, 11 Sep 1999 18:24:36 -0400

Greetings,

First of all, as a rank beginner, I don't know the names of the octave
ranges yet, so please bear with me.

With that said, here is the problem I seem to be having. I am learning
my first scale, F major. In the third octave the high A is in tune, and
the C above that is in tune, but the Bb in-between is very flat. I am
checking the tuning against a professional electric keyboard, with A =
440.

I know that part of the problem is probably my inexperience, but my
fingering chart has three different ways to play the note, and they all
sound the same - flat. Any suggestions, hints, whatever will be greatly
welcomed.

Thanks,

Dave
