Careful, ken --- I'm still holding my "head in my hands" from the last
discussion of "German Silver". My repair person said the same EXACT thing
about a Selmer C/T in his shop.

I think that whenever i get another new clarinet, I'll make sure its Silver
plated ... whether it be Buffet, Selmer, Leblanc, etc. I just like the FEEL
better of Silver. I was told when I got my R-13 that their was no functional
difference between nickel and silver. Now that I have had the opportunity
to REALLY COMPARE, I KNOW which I PREFER.
