Dave,
So you think a teacher in your area might be willing for a trade of
services of some sort? It may be worth a shot...
Also, there may be some advanced amateur/near professional players around
(obviously I don't know where you are) who might be interested in informally
working with you, say, on a monthly basis, for a smaller than standard fee.
In any event, some interval for lessons greater than a week probably makes
greater sense for adults with a multitude of commitments...
