I'm happy to report that I have finished sequencing the Eight Pieces for
Clarinet,
Viola and Piano, Op. 83 by Max Bruch.

The appreciation of Bruch's music was very definitely a slowly acquired
taste for me,
a bit like the growing love I developed for the choral stuff by Creston,
Dello Joio
and Berkowitz when I sang in college.

In any case, I'm now scratching around looking for a violist to join me
next Friday
for the World Premier MIDI-Karaoke performance of these very appealing pieces.
They will be played, as newly sequenced numbers often are, at 3pm in the
Natural
Sciences and Mathematics classroom C239, on the CSU Dominguez Hills campus.
If no violist shows up it will be, once again, just me and my silicon
buddies (and maybe
a few street people wandering in from time to time).

The pieces will be released on my Web page,

http://chemistry.csudh.edu/oliver/clarmusi.htm

within hours after the performance.

Oliver
