FWIW - Yes, the Website for Naropa Institute still lists a Bill Douglas as
teaching a class this fall. Have these Etudes been published? If so, which
publisher or who is carrying the music ? I checked the "usual suspects" and
came up empty. Thanks.

I would imagine he was using the Rock and bebop Etudes written by Bill
Douglas. Bill Dougals can be reached at the Naropa Institute in Boulder,
Colorado (at least the last I heard). Hope this helps!
