I would imagine he was using the Rock and bebop Etudes written by Bill
Douglas. Bill Dougals can be reached at the Naropa Institute in Boulder,
Colorado (at least the last I heard).

Hope this helps!

Subject: [donax-m] Playing outdoors

I have a question about outdoor concerts and weather conditions. My
concert band plays concerts outdoors year round (although not too often
in the dead of winter!). I have a spare clarinet - plastic - to use for
December, but I am wondering about using my wood clarinet in the fall.
How cold and / or damp does it have to be for me to worry about using my
good clarinet out of doors?

Janet
