List members and friends who plan to be in the Orlando area over Labor Day
weekend are cordially invited to attend a performance by the Orlando Concert
Band from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, at the Disney Institute.
The concert will be held in the Institute's outdoor amphitheater, and
admission is free. The amphitheater seats 1,100, and the acoustics are the
best I've ever encountered outdoors.

Directions are as follows: From downtown Orlando, take Interstate 4
westbound. Take Exit 26B, marked Epcot/Downtown Disney. Then, take the third
exit, marked Downtown Disney Resort Area: Old Key West, Port Orleans, Dixie
Landings, Disney Institute, and Golf Courses. As you exit, proceed straight
through a traffic light onto Community Drive. You will pass Disney's Old Key
West resort and drive through a golf course. The Disney Institute entrance
will be on your right after about one mile. As you enter, stop at the guard
gate and ask to be directed to the outdoor amphitheater for the concert.

information.

Please distribute this message to anyone who might be interested in attending
our concert. Wish us luck with the weather. Hurricane Dennis passed by last
weekend, and now seems to be retracing its path!

Please make yourself known to us if you attend. I'm the only "Jim" in the
clarinet section, and three of my colleagues also are list members.
