Andy Brown noted--

<<<when I got home and played it the c/g of the left hand, middle C and g on
top of the staff are very stuffy. This confuses
me, and scares me because all of the notes around it are pretty good but its
just that specific fingering that is stuffy, and there are no pads or
anything associated with this note, or at least not really directly>>>

Andy--you are incorrect. There is indeed a tone hole associated with this
note--there has to be for the pitch to sound.

I'd bet $$$ that you either (a) have crud in the tone hole closed by the
RIGHT hand ring keys--the top hole in the lower joint, or (b) the pad height
for this tone hole is too low. This is the hole through which these notes
sound. Remove the key and clean the hole w/ a Q-tip and some rubbing
alcohol, and make sure the pad is high enough off the hole for a clear
sound. (The test is easy--play the note after you've taken the key off &
cleaned the crud in the hole.)
