Own a piece of history :^)

Sneezy I (the original Sneezy) is now available to any school, church, or other charitable organization. The machine is a DEC 3000/600, 256 Mb machine with a gig or 2 of SCSI disk. DEC Unix is the OS. Runs fine (it's been runing as a webserver at my company for 3 years with no unscheduled downtime). Totally obsolete almost impossible to find parts for a Turbochannel DEC nowadays (can't run Linux or NT on it, either), but would be a good machine to teach people Unix/C/C++ or run some local apps. It uses too much power to be a good home machine (unless you're into electric heat, even in the summer!). Porting PD apps to it is a _lot_ of work since most PD apps don't yet believe in 64 bit pointers. Merced will change that ... :^)

I'll deliver within 200 miles of Detroit as long as you pay gas & lunch money. Email me personally if interested.
