My student had a Wooden Artley, and the intonation through the throat tones
was horrendous. I spoke with others about and they said that this
was typical. He now has a Yamaha YCL 20 which is a vast improvement.
Even though I prefer would as a whole I would recommend the Yamaha YCL 20
before I would let a student waste their money on an Artley.
