Re:Weber Concerto #2.
Weber wrote this for Ehinrich Baermann. It is reputed that he had a
claainet with 10 keys.
Muller's claarinet was made shortlly after the Concerto date and even
then, did not go into use untli mmuch later.
The Baaermann system was evelved from the Muller invention. That is
Carl, the son, innovation.

Well, after extensive searching I found the piece. It calls for 6 extensions of varying lengths with a sliding section to provide a range between given pitches. The notes do say that 9 extensions were used in the premiere and dimensions are given for 9. The slides are manipulated with the feet- I imagine coordination comes in handy for that! The lowest note is see is a Bb- the space two ledger lines below the bottom of the Bass clef.
