Dear Dave,
Actually, I did try to do all the right things, and I consulted the help
menu, and everything I could get to off-line - I was unable, as I said
before, to go online - and read & reread the manuals I have from
Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft; hence, my having to use my recovery disk and
do a lot of "stuff" to get back to normal operating mode...we do have power
"spikes" in this area; I suppose even a SurgeMasterII surge protector is no
insurance against it. Oh well, all's well that ends well. Back to more
"clarinetical" topics
