I have seen the same problem on at least 3 other Buffets
bought around the same time. I have tried the polishing cloth
and it does not help. The repair technician that I use confirmed
to me that the plating just doesn't wear as long. I notice that another
person has responded with the same problem. As far as contacting
Buffet, I have left a couple of messages for Francis and
he has yet to respond to them. I also took it back to the music store
and showed it to them. Unfortunately, because of my travel schedule,
I have not been able to get back to them about this. I'm afraid that I
have waited beyond the warranty period because I just travel to much.
