No -- I once attended a recital performed by a clarinet professor, was
sitting towards the rear of the middle-sized auditorium, and could hear
*extremely* loud and distracting leakage. It was an unmiked performance.
The performer in question seemed quite unaware of this, even when
(delicately) questioned afterwards. It's incomprehensible to me that
anyone with normal hearing, who plays an instrument and therefor has to
*listen*, could be unaware of this.
