For those who think metal clarinets' best use is lamp making, I'll argue
that point.

LINTON bassoons make the best lamps. Couldn't happen to more deserving
instruments. They're just about the right height for a floor lamp that
would sit at one end out a couch.

Plus, you have the total satisfaction of having taken it out of
circulation, thus preventing any poor souls from expending effort in a
totally useless, misadventure!
