Reading Lelia's positive experience with the Selmer Signet, I break out of
lurking on the digest to share my own delight with a Selmer USA clarinet I
recently restored. It has what looks like kid leather pads that are still
in wonderful shape and a very nice piece of light-shade grenadilla wood.
The best part is it sounds wonderful and is very responsive. Now, it's not
a "Signet" and I am puzzled at where it sits on the Selmer quality scale.
All that is engraved in the wood is "Selmer USA" Does anyone know anything
about these horns?
