Here's another one... Does anyone else out there in clarinetland get
annoyed by loose embouchures, allowing a loud PFSSS!!! at every forte or
accented note? Orchestral wind players can, for the most part, get away
with it, but reducing forces to chamber orchestra or smaller brings all
those noises irritatingly to the fore.

no, yo'ure not the only one. i have a few collegues that really leak air
badly. sometimes you can even hear it in a large orchestra concert. it's a
hard habit to break, but can be delt with- and yes, it is very distracting
despite how good the person plays.
you CAN go too far with you accentuations.
