I agree with you. When I listen to our local classical radio station
(WQED - Pittsburgh, PA), my ears perk up when I hear a recording that has
some coughs etc. That usually means it's a local (Pittsburgh area)
performance, taped live. It's not as good as attending a live
performance, I know, but I listen harder knowing it's hometown.
