Comment on Cough Remedy

I fully agree with Rye's observations about members of the audience
spoiling concerts for others, but in suggesting the CD culture may be to
blame for many people not realizing the "etiquette" expected of them at
a live performance I think that he has missed another culprit: classical
commercial radio, which undercuts music and advertisements without a
chance to draw a breath.
Do its presenters not realize that silence after many pieces can be as
magical as the notes themselves?
