>I have an old Jeffrey I found in terrible condition. I stripped it,
scrubbed it, and completely overhauled it because I wanted to try and
salvage it. Not only does it look like new but it sounds great with a 2rv
mpc. Getting used to the left pinkie keys was easier than I thought as they
are shaped differently from those on the market today. Even though it may be
considered a student model, I don't think you'll be disappointed if its done
up right. I'm beginning to think that clarinets, like pianos, have better
quality wood in the older ones as they had more wood to pick from and it was
natural slow grown forest then and fast grown cultivated forest now.
