I've had some bad experiences with Rayburn, they actually lost my clarinet
in their back room once, and I had to wait 3 days for the technician guys to
come back and find it. I find Emilio to be pompus and very unfriendly, I
just don't like the guy. Half the time it isn't even him who fixes your
instrument anyway.

Albert Alphin in Needham MA is a much better bet. He happens to be very
good friends with Thomas Martin, and I know that he has done extensive work
for the BSO players. He works with oboes, saxophone, and clarinets. He is
the only person I would go to for everything from reeds to repairs, he's
great. I don't know the address off hand, but his phone number is
