I am an asthmatic and have played in high school and college marching and
symphonic band. My early days were in Southcentral Pennsylvania, where
asthma was a real problem. They didn't have the pocket inhalers then. My
college was at the University of Arizona, where the climate was much better.

Currently I am in Southcentral Penna and use AsthmaCort, Serevent, and
Albuterol as inhalers and hycodan as a pill. I am involved with several
civic bands here, and play in our Arizona Alumni Band as a marching band once
a year.
