I had this problem on an Eb clarinet, it was caused by the bell ring being
loose.

I just got one from WW&BW. Haven't tried it yet. Looks like its fairly
translucent. NOW, we can see the food passing before the reed on its way to
clpogging a tone hole ! <grin>

When somebody said:

I was thinking of trying the Legere reed. Anyone out here have experience
with this product. Would it be waste of money? Thanks.

I was using them, but decided I liked cane better.

My son won the Orchestral Auditions scholarship given by the National
Federation of Music Clubs last year playing on a Legere "by accident" - his
regular reeds just didn't work right the day he was making his tape, so he
used his Legere reed.
