Hello list, the term tonal concept is a term that I have heard many times, my
teacher uses it and I have hearrd it referred to on this list many times. I
never really understood this though. When someone speaks of developing their
tonal concept are they going on the basis if that you know how you want to
sound, then that is how you will sound? This sounds like a very interesting
topic, and I am wondering if someone could direct me to an essay, or some
reading which discusses this.
