I disagree with you, my clarinet teacher at WVU plays a Kaspar that he's had
for years and his tone matches very closely with Bonade and Marcellus. The
Greg Smith and Pyne are all good mouthpieces I'm sure, but I want a
mouthpiece that has the resonance and tonal quality that Marcellus had.

With all due respect, it will take more than a new mouthpiece to make you
sound like Marcellus. Or me either.

You see, each person is different. DO you have the tonal concept that
Marcellus had, do you have the same breath support and capacity, do you have
the same teeth, lips, sinus cavities????

You're not Marcellus, or Bonade, or Wright, or McLane.

Instead, listen to many great clarinettists, recorded AND live . Decide how
YOU want to sound.

Then find a set-up that works for YOU.

Even if you could somehow inherit Marcellus's mouthpiece AND clarinet, there
is no reason to expect you would sound like him.

AND - Remember, he put a lifetime into developing that sound!!!!!!!!!!
