I play a R13 after a 28 yr olayoff. I started back on a B45, the sound was
bit edgier than I thought I wanted and I wanted to hear a darkerm more
mellow sound anyway. I have tried a Van Doren 5RV13 ($54 from Muncy), which
is very NICE, and a Borbeck 12, the latter being a higher-end german hard
rubber. ($175), which is the "nuggies" for me.

Good luck. mw
