The Table Listing there for Bb Clarinets shows the materials to be Black
Ebonite and Black & Red Ebonite (the latter in the case of the new 2-tone
mouthpieces).

Georgette: Per the Van Doren Mouthpiece Table, the B45 is a BLACK EBONITE.
It is my understanding that this falls within the description/category known
as "Hard Rubber".
