"Current Vandoren's mouthpieces (model names are PRINTED on the mouthpiece)
are plastic, I think. They don't make silver plated keys (and ligatures)

mouthpiece, the mouthpiece must be a hard rubber, old type.

All 5RV's and B44's currently being manufactured by Vandoren are

I have a Van Doren B45 that I purchased two years ago. I know that the model
# "B45" was not etched, it was printed and my
(then metal) ligature wore the print model # info off.

Finally, while we are on this discussion, and beacuse we have many members
who use Selmer mouthpieces ... what are Selmer mouthpieces made out of ???
Anybody else got a mouthpiece that we haven't mentioned that they wish to
include ?

Thanks.
