Hi all, I recently obtained the principle chair in the Buffalo youth
orchestra, the season for which starts in a little over a month. My problem
is, I am going to need an A Clarinet, and my parents aren't too thrilled
about this, cause they just forked over 1500 dollars for my r-13 Bb. I am
wondering if anyone on the list has an A clarinet that they are looking to
get rid of for a reasonable price. I dont think that A clarinets are
something that most music stores rent, so Im figuring that is something that
I am going to have to buy. All advice or suggestions are really greatly
appreciated.
Thanks
Andy Brown

Andy, try a Buffet E-11 A Clarinet - only $775! The E-11 C Clarinets are
good enough to play professionally. Good luck finding a good used A. Hard
enough to find a good new one.
