Current Vandoren's mouthpieces (model names are PRINTED on the mouthpiece)
are plastic, I think. They don't make silver plated keys (and ligatures)
tarnished, while the hard rubber contains sulfur which tarnishes silver keys.

If the model name (5RV, B44, or whatever) is etched on the mouthpiece,
the mouthpiece must be a hard rubber, old type.
