But there are other Vandorens than the ones Oliver mentioned - he mentioned
the B45 and the B46 - open and more open. The B46 is, essentially, a jazz
mouthpiece (at least it was considered that when it first came out). The
B45 is a specialized mouthpiece for people who like the more open
facing/curve - it also tends to be edgier and brighter (sorry Dan for that
word) than often preferred, although some people absolutely love them. The
5RV and 5 RV Lyre are both excellent Vandoren mouthpieces.
