Moderation like anything else, when taken to extreme, cannot be too good
for you!
Actually, I'm having the same kind of problem with a stuffy Bb and I had
sent it out to have the tone holes etc. cleaned and pads checked and
requested general tweaking. I didn't recognize the technician at the
place where I usually go but as of now I don't think he does more than
pads and recorks on school instruments. There was no mention on the bill
of any cleaning and some pads were replaced. The Bb is still stuffy.
Does anyone know of a clarinet technician in the Pittsburgh area
(preferably to the east)?
Aimee, who do you go to?
Marks Music in Hermitage is a little too far for right now but I may go
there some day.
