Does anyone know of anyone who's making Cocobolo wood barrels? I've
just had the opportunity to play on some that are terrific sounding but
a little bit off in pitch. The person that's making them is just
experimenting and has a long way to go on the pitch aspects of clarinet
barrels, but the wood just sounds fantastic. I'd be interested in
trying a variety of tapers, i.e. the standards such as Moennig and
Chadash.

If anyone knows of someone who's making these, please send email to me
