I have severe asthma. I played clarinet, trombone and bottom bass drum
throughout my 4 years of H.S. (I'm 29 now). With the right medication you
won't even know that you have asthma. I won't try to second guess what was
going on but I do know that the meds I'm on now keep me from severe attacks
unless I do some crazy kind of physical exercise like a soccer game or
basketball game.
Her doctor should be able to make sure she's on meds that will control her
asthma. If not then she needs to find a dr. specializes in asthma.
