Yes, I did get a new job. I'll be moving to San Angelo, Texas and teaching
at Angelo State University. Here are some things I found out about Texas on
a recient visit:

- It is HOT in Texas.
- ASU has a really great program.
- There are turkey buzzards in Texas and they eat dead armadillos.
- Where will I be during winter break? Up in Wisconsin.
- The Mexican food is really HOT.
- In a band director golf tournament, I won worst score (75 in 9 holes - it
would have been higher but I was only allowed 8 hits per hole) and closest
to to pin - TWO trophies!!
- If it's in the 90's it's cool.
- Shade is a valuable commodity.

This will be a little different from where I've lived before (Milwaukee,
Madison, Columbus, Canton). If you're in the area let me know - especially
if you want to play golf.
