Mark:-

In the last couple of weeks when I logged -on to this list, I
wonder if I might have missed your posting advising
a name change to something other than "klarinet" !

Subjects such as Marching Bands and School Programs
etc, should be discussed elsewhere, and perhaps you
could remind the list of your posting dated March 16/99
regarding your creation of a "marchingband" list, and
which you inferred would alleviate the pain experienced
by non-interested members.

When list members insist on discussing non-clarinet
topics, we all become losers.

We cannot benefit from the information and comments
which Alvin Swiney - Francois Kloc - Clark Fobes -
Tom Ridenour and a great many other people who
can, and do, offer this list, if they have to wade through
a pile of non-clarinet related garbage in the off-chance of
finding a question to answer or to offer an opinion on a
topic.

We don't have to agree with the opinion's or answer's,
but remember that they are offered without monetary gain
by people who for the most part are professional's, and
experienced in their field, and who don't have the time
to read posting's which are not clarinet related.

I am taking the liberty of re-sending a posting I made
earlier this year.

Perhaps some of our member's missed it at that time;

Could we now get back to "Clarinet 101 ?

Have a nice day,
