And they would be wrong. Unless you think that Concert Band is not
healthy and Nintendo64 is??

That's fine - no one argued against that Jill. But that's a completely
differnt issue than I was discussing.

One is life threatening the other isn't? Gee.......going a bit off the
deep end here aren't we? Your analogies are a bit extreme. Competitions
in MB as opposed to other things simply reduces class time for music
learning and for what? fun? games? trophies? And this is a curriculum?
Sorry - not what schools have music in the public schools for.

Great. Triple AAA high school? AA High School? What about the A High
Schools? What about those programs that don't have the money, the numbers
in the community but have retired people who don't vote for the budget/tax
funds, etc.? Does Kenny go to Concert Band contests?

Can you list other schools - out of the 100,000 or more public schools,
how many Fayette Co. High Schools are there? In fact, how many of those
100,000 don't even have a music program anymore?
