My favorite for a long time has been "embasure" as in the following (copied
from the archives -- The topic was Starvinsky's "Soldier's Tale" in his
version for clarinet, violin and piano. The piece is for clarinet in A and
calls for a low Eb as the clarinet's last note in the second movement.):

"In his book, Brymer suggests either a clarinet with the low Eb, or a
"flexible embrasure" (if I remember his words correctly)."

What I really like about this one is that Tony Pay then used the spelling to
create his own term for a technique to hit the note and it fit pretty well!

"The way to do it is this: you lightly lay the length of your tongue flat
along the surface of the reed, and then blow whilst maintaining the
contact. This 'embrasure' considerably lowers the pitch of the low E,
and a very relaxed embouchure completes the pitch change to Eb."
