Rod asked: I think I read in The Clarinet that Dave Grusin
had written a clarinet concerto for Eddie Daniels. Is that the case and is
it available on disc?

When I was in NRO (National Repertory Orchestra) we did the premier of the
Grusin with Daniels and recorded it with him. This was in 1993 I think.
NRO had subsequent financial problems and I believe the disc was not
released.
