Andy, I firmly agree with your assessment that , in our quest to have our
kids "well-rounded" and "versatile", we are overscheduling them and,
additionally, I believe, basically making them overtired and stressed, going
from one thing to another with no time to "just be".
My daughter (oldest) is a basketball player. But even that stays in
perspective. We refuse to bend to being a "nineties family"...guess I'm
just too old fashioned.
