Hi Tim,

There are actually two left hand G# keys, the throat tone G# that camel backs over
the top of the throat tone A key and the C#/G# which is opened by the L. H. pinky.
I'm guessing the one that's hanging up is the throat tone key played with the left
hand forefinger.

My suggestion is take it to a repairman. The screw could be bent, the hinge tubing
could be bent or both could be bent. The G# key could be a little hard to
straighten out because of the way the key spatula silver solders onto the tubing.

If it is a bent rod screw (arbor), a repairman can spin it in a bench motor and
have you up and running in no time at all. The repair cost would be very little
unless the situation is very bad. If you were able to extract the arbor and remove
the key, I doubt your problem is a bad one.
