Hmmm..... By left-hand G#, do you mean the throat register G# key? If
so, that is not just a screw but rather a threaded rod, isn't it? That
being the case, I would just take the bent rod to a music store with a
good repair shop and buy a replacement. If they are a *really* good shop,
if they don't have that rod they can fabricate one to replace it. They
probably keep on hand what they call "rod stock." It's just a matter of
finding the correct diameter rod, cutting it to the correct length,
threading one end (with the proper thread) and putting a slot in the other
end. They probably do this every day. If there is no musical instrument
repair shop in your area, a good machinist would be able to do the same
thing.
