Jim, "Vice-grips" are actually apprentices to "Grips" on movie sets. Or
they're the restraining holds that LAPD officers use while apprehending
ladies of the night and their clients on Hollywood Boulevard. Vi*S*e-grips
are those great locking pliers used for instrument repair. Sorry, I couldn't
resist.
