Dear Gustavo,
The concerti (clarinet concerto and 2 double concertos for 2 clarinets) =
are, according to Herr Kloecker, written for the clarinet. I do not have =
the Cd notes at the moment but I think that one of the double concerti =
may have been originally written for Lira Organizzta. The CD notes are =
not completely convincing as to the authenticity of the works. Herr =
Kloecker has apparently published an article about these works in a =
German woodwind magazine "rohrblatt (vol. 13/1)" which I have not seen. =
To answer your question, it seems likely that the works are not =
arrangements, but are they by Haydn or not? They are certainly =
attractive pieces and I think that they warrant further performances.
